IRL Yuru Camp

Just like in Yuru Camp, I went camping with my friends for the first time. Here are my recollections from the experience.

Day 2

When we woke up at around 9:30, we started making breakfast. We brought bacon, eggs, and veggies, along with tortillas, so we made breakfast burritos. We got the campfire going again, and used that to help us cook. It was my first time cooking on a campfire, so that was neat! Definitely felt a lot hotter than cooking in the camp stove, and left all that soot or black carbon on the bottom cause of the red flames. Sayaka also blessed us with her breakfast burrito wrapping skills, so shout out to her for that!

Since we were still hungry afterwards, we also made sausages afterwards.

Since it was still early in the day, NekoDiv, Kami, and I headed out to the water to cool off and to take photos.

Oh yeah, I also brought JiffyPop with me, and made the second one today. I forgot to mention the first one from the first day cause I ended up burning it 😂.

Ves also brought his guitar, and we listened to some nice jams. I don’t have any photos that don’t show our faces of which I can post, but it was a nice change of pace. Sayaka also brought her mini keyboard, too.

After that, it was more food again. Tonight was barbeque night, so we had steak, grilled veggies, and KD. Good food, good food.

The hard part about grilling veggies on the campfire is that we ended up burning a bunch. For example, that zucchini ended up being not salvageable cause it ended up being burnt to a crisp. We managed to not burn the mushrooms though, so that was good.

After dinner and a bunch of clean up, we went for a short little walk around. We walked up from where we came into the campground towards the waterfall above us: Bear Creek Falls.

We came back down, and walked on the beach as the sun began to set.

Out by the water as the sun begins to set.

As the night set, we got the campfire going once again, and also went to see the stars at night. I was able to get some great photos, but WordPress might have compressed them. The lack of light pollution from the surrounding environment made stargazing very amazing. Seeing them with the naked eye was another experience!

The stars at night.

When we got back to camp with the campfire, we sat around and had another night of talks before heading to sleep.
