Summer Break: Day 2! Just chilling…at Henderson.

Well, here I am again, blogging about random stuff. Nothing special really happened today. The appliances for our new kitchen were delivered in the morning at around 10:30AM. I ate a slice of bread for breakfast, and udon with wonton for lunch. In the afternoon, I went to Henderson with Ray Low. At Henderson, I met up with Andrew Li, along with Hani Dbouk, Andy Lee, and Matthew (I don’t know his last name…). Anyways, we bought bubble tea. I got coffee milk tea with coconut jelly, and Ray got the green apple green tea with pearls. We also decided to play a card game called “Seven Levels.”

For those of you who don’t know what it is, it is basically a game where each player has a set of four cards. In our case, there were 6 people playing, so there were 24 cards, with 6 of the same kind (6*4). If you have 4 people playing, you would have 16 cards, with 4 of the same kind (4*4), and so on. Anyways, the objective of the game is to try and get all four of your cards the same. If someone gets four of the same cards, they immediately touch their nose. This causes everyone else to touch their nose. The person to touch their nose last gains a level. This repeats over and over until someone reaches the seventh level. Sounds easy if you’ve got speed, right? Well, it’s not. In this game, if someone who is a higher level than you talks to you, and you, a lower level person, responds, you immediately become that level. However, if you talk to someone your own level, and someone who has a higher level responds, nothing happens. Third person wording is allowed.

Anyways, getting back to the subject, we got to play 2 games. Sadly, Andy Lee lost both games. There were some epic highlights. To name one, Hani was level 4, and Andy was level 2. Here’s the details:

Hani stated, “Oh my goodness. Andy, you suck.”

Andy replies, “I’m better than you.”

Hani stated, “That’s what I thought.”

Andy replies, “OH SHIT!…”

And there you have it, Andy went from level 2…to level 4…LOL. I was laughing so hard with Andrew Li; it was way too funny…

Later on in the day, I had soccer practice. It was alright as well. Currently, I am waiting for Hidan no Aria to be subbed. I don’t know whether I should be excited or not, but whatever.

Anyways, I’m gonna sleep now. I’ll be back to blog again tomorrow. Hopefully, I’ll take some good pictures of Canada Day! YAY…NATIONALISM. =D

Have a good day,

Summer Break: Day 1 – Finally! Summer is here…again!

Well, here I am again, one month later. Summer is finally here, and it’s time for me to relax after a hard year of work. As usual, I have achieved straight A’s this year (excluding jazz band, which I got a B on my first report as it was my first time doing jazz band). Anyways, I am getting back to speed with updating my website with different types of things, including a forum (possibly), a new UI for the root of the site, and a Windows share for my own files. Of course, there has to be breaks in between work, so I’ll be watching Anime, and trying out Audition. For those of you who don’t know what Audition is, it is a dancing game for PC that requires the user to press arrow keys and the space bar to make your avatar dance. You compete with others online. Anyways, it’s quite fun.

Apart from this, today is quite depressing, as it is raining quite hard. At home, my family is currently renovating the kitchen. One notable mention is that I got a 初音ミク (Hatsune Miku) figurine as a gift from my brother’s friend, Royce Ng, when they went to Hong Kong. Pictures to follow this post. I like it very much. That’s one more thing to add to my Miku collection. Speaking of which, I also got a Hatsune Miku cellphone strap from my cousin, Jessie Lee. Now it’s on my Sony Ericsson W705 =D. Pictures of that to follow as well.

Today, I plan on going to Sammi’s (bubble tea), located in Henderson Mall, to hang out with Franklin Cokeng, Andrew Li, and Ray Low, my friends, for the last time before Franklin has to leave for Taiwan. Going to have lots of fun there =D.

Oh and at 12:30PM, my family’s kitchen cabinets arrived. Now we’re waiting to get them installed. Speaking of installation, I poorly installed my family’s home theatre system. Sound-wise, it’s pretty epic; however, look-wise, it’s terrible. The surround speakers are placed right on the arms of our couch. This is temporary, but still, it looks pretty bad.

Moving on, MIKUNOPOLIS in Los Angeles is set to begin on July 3rd, 2011 at 12PM Japan time (?). I want to go there so bad, but I don’t have the money to, so I’ll be watching the live stream of it, if I can get it.

Since I haven’t done the Song of the Week for a while, check this entire album out. It’s based on the Caramelldansen, which I am disappointed to realize that I did not know about until now. Anyways, here we go: http://youtu.be/oY25KiwAHIQ?list=PL8AACC40129D975FD

Anyways, as I said early, here are pictures of my 初音ミク figurine and cellphone strap:

Well, that’s all I have to talk about today. Hope to blog again tomorrow or the day after.
