Already, Halloween is upon us. Another year of handing out candy and chips for kids of all ages. This year in my neighbourhood, more kids came trick-or-treating compared to last year. The weather was very co-operative. It was supposed to rain tonight, but I guess it will hold off until tomorrow. Also, at 2 AM tomorrow, we will be gaining an hour because we’re reverting back to Standard Pacific Time. I’m going to get my extra hour of sleep.
The days go by quickly these days, and yet, we are all filled with homework. We are yet near another year of a great, delicious, roasted turkey for Thanksgiving. Luckily, the weather is still co-operating with a lot of sunshine in our faces. It still feels like summer is still around these days. As I get ready to go to bed, I see in the distance that leaves are falling off trees, which reminds me that we are in autumn now, and not summer anymore.
