Hong Kong and the Olympics

In a few weeks, before spring break, I am lucky enough to go back to Hong Kong and visit family and friends overseas.  I look forward to this awesome trip, as this is the first time I’ve been back since a relative passed away, and it is home to a place of cheap stuff, like electronics.  Anyways, apart from going to Hong Kong, the XXI Winter Olympics in Vancouver was wonderful!  Transportation to the downtown core was great.  The waterfront transit station was packed with lots of people, as it was the center of the SkyTrain, the SeaBus, the buses, and the West Coast Express.  I got the chance to see the outdoor Olympic flame cauldron in person, as did millions of tourists.  If you didn’t see the Olympic flame, don’t worry; there will be another chance for that in a few years in the XXII Winter Olympics!  Click here to see the outdoor Olympic cauldron in Vancouver, Canada.
